These souvenir packs are sets of tangrams that have common themes. The vast majority of these images have been created specifically for these packs.

I'd say that these images can't be found anywhere else, but that's a tough claim, because I've often "invented" a tangram puzzle only to later find someone else had also invented the same image and posted it to some other site. Although there are literally thousands of images that can be formed with the 7 tangram pieces, there are still only 7 pieces to work with, so it's not uncommon for more than 1 person to come up with similar puzzles. Seriously, give 20 people the 7 tans and ask them to create a "dog". The odds are strong that at least two of the resulting puzzles will look similar.

This page has a mirror design to it. On this page is found the solutions to the "Expert Puzzles" that are included in each of the Souvenir Packs. While posting those solutions on this page, all of the "Fan Puzzles" in the Packs are shown here in "Expert" mode. This means that the solutions to the Expert Puzzles on this page, can be found in the individual Souvenir Packs. So, the site reflects the Packs and the Packs reflect the site in that the solutions to one Pack's puzzles is found on the other. It is hoped that this will allow the solutions to be found without spoiling the fun of trying to solve the puzzles on your own.

Souvenir Packs

What are Souvenir Packs?

Souvenir Packs are essentially Travel Packs. They're single player editions of the Tangram Fury game. They are intended to be sold at gift shops at places that people like to visit, like zoos, museums, National Parks and such. Each pack has an insert sheet with several puzzles included on it plus info about tangrams and the site. They also have a puzzle that is the same type as is found in the full game. The key piece that makes these different from "Travel Packs" is that they have a souvenir card that highlights the site. The puzzles listed in each of the packs all follow specific theme. The packs come in resealable plastic storage bags.
