The Book of Mormon 

The Original Source for the Novel

The book, The Title of Liberty, is based on events and characters found in the Book of Mormon.  Specifically, it covers the section known as Alma 43-62.  It is highly recommended that to gain a full appreciation for the story, readers should read the original source, rather than the novel.  The novel, while entertaining, does not have the higher objective of teaching the noble truths that are found in the actual Book of Mormon.

The novel is purposely written in such a way that it can be read, understood and appreciated without prior knowledge of the Book of Mormon, however.  The information on this page is provided for the benefit of anyone interested in more background on the Book of Mormon.
